GrydBase Legal
Messaging Acceptable Use Policy
Effective July 21, 2026 · Version 2026-07-21-v1
1. Scope
This policy applies to every workspace that uses GrydBase to send or receive SMS or MMS. It supplements the GrydBase Terms of Service. By enabling messaging, the workspace owner accepts this policy for the workspace and its users.
2. Customer-care use only
GrydBase messaging is currently limited to one-to-one customer care, including responses to customer questions, requested follow-up, scheduling, service updates, job coordination, estimates, invoices, account notices, and support. Promotional campaigns, advertising blasts, cold outreach, lead-list texting, and recurring marketing are not permitted unless GrydBase expressly enables a separately approved messaging product.
3. Workspace responsibility
The workspace is solely responsible for deciding whom to message, obtaining and documenting legally sufficient permission, keeping contact information accurate, providing required disclosures, honoring opt-out requests, and ensuring that its message content and practices comply with applicable laws, carrier rules, and industry requirements. A person's number appearing in a contact record does not by itself prove permission to text that person.
4. Prohibited conduct
A workspace may not use GrydBase messaging to:
- send unsolicited, deceptive, harassing, or unlawful messages;
- message purchased, scraped, rented, or third-party lead lists;
- evade STOP requests, blocks, throttles, or carrier filtering;
- misrepresent the sender or conceal the purpose of a message;
- send prohibited or age-restricted content;
- use repeated customer-care messages as a disguised campaign;
- interfere with platform or carrier security and monitoring.
5. Monitoring and enforcement
GrydBase may use automated and manual review to identify unusual sending patterns, repeated content, high recipient velocity, promotional language, bulk links, complaints, opt-out activity, carrier errors, or other abuse signals. GrydBase may warn workspace owners, delay or throttle messages, require additional verification, temporarily block messaging, suspend numbers, preserve evidence, or terminate access. GrydBase is not required to warn before acting when immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect recipients, carriers, the platform, or other customers.
6. Technology-provider role
GrydBase provides software, storage, routing, consent-record tools, and abuse controls. GrydBase does not select a workspace's recipients, write its messages, or become a party to its customer relationships merely because the platform transmits a message. Assistance with templates, registration, verification, or compliance controls does not transfer the workspace's responsibility to GrydBase.
7. Costs, claims, and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the workspace is responsible for fines, carrier charges, claims, disputes, losses, and reasonable costs caused by its recipients, consent failures, message content, or violation of this policy. The workspace agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Caleb Media Studio LLC d/b/a GrydBase and its service providers from third-party claims arising from the workspace's messaging activity, except to the extent caused by a party's own non-waivable legal responsibility. Nothing in this policy eliminates liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. No delivery guarantee
Message acceptance, delivery, timing, number availability, and continued carrier approval are not guaranteed. Messages may be filtered, delayed, rejected, or blocked by carriers, regulators, recipients, verification systems, outages, or abuse controls.
9. Changes and contact
GrydBase may update this policy as the messaging product or external requirements change. Material updates may require renewed acceptance. Questions or appeals may be sent to support@grydbase.com or call +1 (307) 340-9950.
